Standing Up to Breast Cancer Campaign
During October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we host our annual Standing Up to Breast Cancer campaign to raise local awareness of breast cancer and promote the importance of early detection.
Throughout the campaign, Advanced Imaging Centers flocks local businesses with over 120 pink flamingos. Our partnership with the businesses raises funds, drives awareness in the community, and helps spread the word about breast cancer screenings. In addition, we encourage our fellow residents to display their own pink flamingos in their yard. Need a flamingo? Pink flamingo lawn ornaments are available for a $12 donation at Advanced Imaging Centers. All funds raised from this initiative are donated to Michelle-O-Gram, a local non-profit organization.
